Atatürk Arboretum is
a green-space designed to be a collection of various plant and tree kinds. Its
actual founding purpose is to provide a field for scientific research and
observations. Over than 1500 species of plants and trees in the area of 296
hectares are included in the arboretum for this reason.
To preserve this
abundance of species that couldn't normally be seen altogether in their own
natural habitats, rules to follow in the park are quite many. Any kind of food
and drink, pets, bikes, drones, balls and tripods are not allowed.
Although the
natural beauty you can capture in this park is unique throughout all four
seasons, autumn sceneries are particularly popular. Although the arboretum is
not in a central location, the time you would spend there definitely would be
worth a visit.
